Interested in Learning about Cardiac Ultrasound? The Internal Medicine Ultrasound Community of Practice is hosting an educational event in which a speaker from the Department of Cardiology will speak about the foundational principles of cardiac ultrasound in understanding various pathologies. Students will experience an interactive 45-minute presentation on cardiac pathology cases and the utility of cardiac ultrasound. The presentation will be immediately followed by a hands-on simulation experience to allow attendees to apply knowledge and gain experience with ultrasound. Faculty members will lead the scanning sessions in addition to proficient OSU COM students to bolster our Cardiology curriculum. Not in the College of Medicine but curious anyway? Come one come all!
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Kathy Tong at tong.410@osu.edu or 732-766-9736. Requests made one week in advance of the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
