Ohio Union

The Ohio Union has three all-gender (single occupant) restrooms and they are located at room numbers 1058T, 1036T, 2070T on the first and second floors. These restrooms also have a changing station for families with babies.

The Ohio Union has a lactation room available on the second floor between the two gendered restrooms on the south side of the building. No key is needed, and the space is first-come, first-served. There is no secure storage for nursing mothers, limited space may be available in the administrative suite, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. The lactation room also has a changing station for families with babies.

To meet the diverse needs of our students and the community, the Interfaith Prayer and Reflection Room on the third-floor features two ablution rooms and two meditation rooms.

Water fountains are available near each restroom on each floor of the building. Additionally, a hot water dispenser is available on the first floor in the Union Market dining area.

If you are planning a summer conference, the Office of Student Life’s Summer Conference Housing provides housing in our residence halls, dining, meeting facilities and a variety of services for individuals or groups as large as 3,500 from mid-May to late July.

The Ohio Union South Garage is a convenient parking option when visiting the Ohio Union. For additional parking information, please visit the CampusParc website. Short term metered spaces are available along High Street, directly across from the main entrance to the union.

Columbus campus visitors can choose to opt-in to receive Buckeye Alerts during their time on campus. Guests may text the phrase “OSUGuest” to 67283 to receive BuckeyeAlerts for the next 24 hours, or “OSUGuest2” to 67283 to receive BuckeyeAlerts for the next 48 hours. Messages are not case sensitive.

The Ohio State University Bookstore is located on the first floor of the building and has Ohio State apparel and merchandise available for purchase, along with snacks, drinks and school and office supplies. A larger selection is also available at the main bookstore location, two blocks south of the union.
