The Ohio Union is the heart of campus life and has served as a gathering place for students, faculty/staff and external groups since its construction. With dozens of spaces to choose from, the Ohio Union allows you to give your guests a customized experience for every event.

The Ohio Union has 34 flexible meeting and event spaces that can accommodate large corporate meetings, fundraising galas, hands-on breakout sessions, conferences and more. A highlight of the Ohio Union and named for two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin, the grand ballroom is one of the largest ballrooms in Central Ohio with seating in theatre style for 1,700. Each space is unique, so you can give your guests an individualized experience for every event.

The North District Event Spaces are within the 11 newer residential buildings that create an area which centers around activity and establishes the North Campus Gateway. This is perfect for a conference or even your summer conference overnight experience. Residences are located on upper floors, while ground floors are dedicated to common and event spaces. The innovative design of the district includes 32 different event spaces and 5,885 residence beds.

A highlight of the District is Curl Viewpoint, located on the second floor of Curl Hall, this space features floor to ceiling windows and provides an open floor plan for 270 in theatre style or 216 at rounds with built in technology. The space overlooks the grassy common area that connect it to the other smaller spaces in the District that could serve as breakout spaces for your next conference or event.

Our outdoor venues are strategically located throughout the campus and the connector to many of our indoor spaces. These outdoor spaces offer a dynamic array of settings for various events and gatherings.

Spread across the campus grounds, these spaces are designed to complement the university's atmosphere, providing unique opportunities for engaging activities and experiences. From serene green spaces ideal for casual gatherings to areas suited for larger events, our outdoor venues cater to your event’s diverse needs.

One of the highlights is the picturesque Oval, set in the heart of the campus, offering an expansive backdrop for special occasions. With its versatile layout and scenic views, it's perfect for hosting the perfect event.

Recreational Sports spans across campus with award winning indoor and outdoor facilities, including six indoor locations, spacious parks, and outdoor spaces for a wide range of events. From the Lincoln Tower Park fields where the Best Damn Band in The Land Practices for Ohio State Football games to the top of the line climbing facilities at the Adventure Recreation Center, Recreational Sports has the spaces you are looking for to support the wellness of your event, camp, or conference.

The centerpiece is the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), topping more than 600,000 square feet in the heart of campus, the RPAC offers top of the line workout equipment, a wellness center, a state-of-the-art aquatic facility, and several well-maintained gyms and meeting spaces to support large or smaller events. This state-of-the-art facility could be a perfect fit for your next camp or conference.
