The SOURCE

Student organizations at The Ohio State University provide students with opportunities to get involved in a wide variety of interest areas including academic, social, religious, artistic, service-based, and many more. There are over 900 registered student organizations that involve many thousands of students.

The Student Organization Resource Center (SOURCE) and its staff support student organization registration, funding, and resources throughout the year. Use the links on the left to access the resources and information you need, or contact the SOURCE for more information.

Space and Meeting Reservations in the New Ohio Union Begins Jan. 13th. Spring quarter reservations for meeting and event space in the new Ohio Union will begin Wednesday, January 13th. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis; so make sure that you book your one-time and regular meetings beginning January 13th.

To reserve space in the new Ohio Union, please visit www.studentlife.osu.edu/vems; first time users will be asked to create an account. A user guide is available at ohiounion.osu.edu/new/reservations.aspx.

The Student Organization Registration "New Year" begins May 1. This means that all student organizations may begin renewing their registration with the SOURCE for the following academic year after this date. Organizations that wish to continue to stay registered and active with the SOURCE must complete all renewal requirements between May 1 and October 15. Renewal Requirements include:

• Online updates - log on to the management pages to verify and update contact information for your organization.
• Primary Leader attends President Training - dates are listed online
• Treasurer attends Treasurer Training - dates are listed online
• Advisor completes Advisor Certification - dates are listed online

Register now for the Spring Involvement Fair!  Registered and active student organizations may now register for the first-ever Spring Involvement Fair!  The Fair will be held on Wednesday, April 7 from 12-3pm in the NEW Ohio Union.  Student organization tables will be stationed throughout the building, helping interested students explore the new Ohio Union while connecting with involvement opportunities.

The Fair will also feature student organization performances on stage in the Performance Hall.  We encourage any variety of performances - vocal, musical, dance, or demonstration of special talents.  Please contact student chairperson Jess Ostrau at sifair@osu.edu with questions or to sign up.
