Features

Although planning and design for the new Ohio Union is still underway, the following is a list of features that will exist in the new building:

• More space for student organizations, activity space, and dedicated student study space.
• Lounges with dedicated space for students, including commuter students.
• Larger ballrooms and more meeting rooms with the capability to support technology.
• An enhanced Multicultural Center.
• Satellite offices for student services such as Transportation and Parking, Financial Aid, and the Registrar. BUCK*ID will relocate its operation to the Ohio Union.
• More seating and addition of fresh food options in food court.
• Babysitting services for students with families who wish to attend on-campus programming.
• Engage High Street by moving building to street level, complementing the Campus Partners initiative.
