Transgender Activist Lecture

HRC@OSU will be hosting Silvia Martinez and Vivian Stromberg. Ms. Martinez, the coordinator of the Nicaraguan chapter of the Latin American and Caribbean Trans Network (Red LAC Trans), and Ms. Stromberg, MADRE's Executive Director will talk about the intersections between local activism and international advocacy for sexual rights and the rights of the LGBTQ community. They will also discuss the ways in which MADRE and Red LAC Trans have partnered to support transgender activists. The lecture/workshop is completely open to all students, faculty and staff that may wish to attend. This event will take place in Psychology 110.
