Mid-Autumn Moon FestivalNovember 10, 2009 (6:30 PM) The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is one of the two most important holidays in the Chinese calendar (after the Chinese New Year). The Moon festival is held yearly in celebration of the end of the harvest and typically families will gather together to admire the moon, eat moon cakes (the traditional food of the Festival) and play games. In celebration of that, CASA and VSA are going to team up to bring Autumn Moon Festival to OSU through making homemade moon cakes, sharing the cultural history of the Festival and playing traditional festival games. Location: Mendenhall 100
