Chalk the Walk
Graduating Students! Come celebrate the end of finals with the Class of 2009 by chalking your parting message to the University on the long walk of the Main Oval Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11, 10-4. Chalk will be provided and photographers will be at the event to document your masterpiece. So grab your friends, a piece of chalk, and start Commencement Week off "write."
Time and Change Tailgate
Although it is not football season yet, why not start the tailgate a little early? Come enjoy food, music, and door prizes immediately following Commencement Rehearsal at the Northwest Lawn of the RPAC. Kick back and relax with the Class of 2009 and the Alumni Association as you celebrate your time at Ohio State with friends and prepare for the change to come!
Commencement Eve Candlelight Ceremony
At 9:00pm on the night before Commencement, Saturday, June 13, all graduating students are invited to congregate on the Oval for a very special candlelight ceremony. Hear from some of your favorite campus celebrities, including student speaker, Mark Torrez to give a Commencement Eve address, and receive your class pin, available exclusively at this event. Share one of the most powerful experiences with your fellow Buckeyes – a candlelight rendition of Carmen Ohio on the Oval, and reflect on your journey at Ohio State.
