Students from Ohio State will come together with students from another Big Ten university again this fall for a day of service in conjunction with a Buckeye Football Game. This year's theme will once again be "Big Football Fans with Even Bigger Hearts" and students will travel by bus to State College, Pennsylvania on Friday, November 6th. Friday evening they will participate in fun activities on PSU's campus and then on Saturday morning they will be spent participating in a service project with students from Penn State. The day will conclude with students heading off to a tailgate with other Buckeye fans and OSU alumni and then attending the game between the Buckeyes and the Penn State Nittany Lions! The bus will load up and head back to OSU campus following the game on Saturday, Nov. 7th. 

The cost of the trip is $30. Applications for the trip are available now. There are a limited number of spaces so apply early so you don’t miss out on this great service opportunity! 

If you are selected to participate in Make a Difference Day, you will need to pay your $30 fee by Monday, November 2nd by 5:00 p.m. to reserve your spot.  Alternates will then be notified as spots open. 

Applications will be due by Friday, October 9, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.  Applicants will be notified by Monday, October 19, 2009 via email.
